Energy Tea With Reishi Mushroom

Energy Tea With Reishi Mushroom

Energy Tea with Reishi Mushroom
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, practitioners often make a strong tea of reishi as a remedy for chronic fatigue, stress and as a liver tonic. This medicinal mushroom boasts several healthful effects, including an ability to reduce allergies and lower blood pressure. Reishi inhibits some of the chemical mediators of inflammation, including histamine.
  • 1/3 ounce chopped or powdered reishi mushrooms
  • 3 cups of water
Combine in a pot with a lid. Bring water and mushrooms to a boil in a covered pan, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Drink in divided doses throughout the day. Refrigerate for up to three days.
