A decoction of yucca root may be taken as a drink to relieve pain and swelling of both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Yucca root makes a very mild tasting, pale yellow tea.

Yucca combines well with ginger, licorice and ginseng.|
|Additions: stevia, agave, honey|
:Use 1 teaspoon of the finely chopped roots to each cup water and follow the directions for making decoctions. Yucca foams up, so leave plenty of headroom in the pot.
