Cannabis Tincture - Medical marijuana

Cannabis can be made into a tincture in the same manner as other dried herbs. Since it is a strong psychoactive herb, it must be handled with care and taken with wisdom. Using it in tincture form can help deliver more accurate standardized dosing than smoking the herb does.

Use a 1: 1 ratio of herb to high proof alcohol. Grind the whole herb, leaf, flower and small stems into small particles, but not powder. Macerate for at least two weeks. The tincture will developed a dark greenish tint. Dosing varies greatly both between individual needs and THC content of the herb.

Cautions: It goes almost without saying that medical marijuana laws are enforced in dramatically different ways depending upon where you live. Cannabis is not suitable for children. Take the smallest dose possible to achieve your desired results. Do not use for extended periods.

Recipe Instructions: Tincture :A good starting point would be 10 to 15 drops of tincture in a hot cup of tea. The hot tea will dissipate the alcohol and help to activate the THC a bit.
