Suma root morning tea
Suma root has a mildly vanilla flavor, and a kick to it that can give a smooth, non-jittery energy boost. I am always looking for good coffee subsitutes and this spicy, good tasting blend is a good for you morning brew. Make enough that you can use drink it cold in the afternoon, over ice with a splash of ginger ale and a lemon slice.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped suma root
  • 1 tablespoon chopped bitter orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon sweet cinnamon

Additions: Stevia, Lemon

Ingredients: Cinnamon *Orange *Suma Root *
Instructions: Decoction : Mix herbs and add to 2 quarts cold water Bring to a boil over low heat and simmer for 15 minutes with the lid on. Add a dash of stevia and/or lemon to taste.
