This spicy morning tea blends the root-beer like taste of sarsaparilla, and chocolately carob with the slightly vanilla suma. Just the right hint of cloves and orange complete the flavor. This is good blend for anyone who has a sweet tooth, but wants to control blood sugar spikes. Sweeten with a pinch a stevia or raw organic honey. Smooth energy and good for you.
  • 1 tablespoon Suma root
  • 1 tablespoon roasted cut Carob
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Sarsaparilla root
  • 1 teaspoon bitter orange peel
  • a few whole cloves

Additions: Stevia, Honey

Ingredients: Clove *Sarsaparilla *Carob *Suma Root *
Instructions: Decoction : Add all herbs to 2 quarts cold water and bring to slow boil in a pan with a tight fitting lid. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
