Carob Kola coffee blend

I love the taste of this blend; warm, spicy, mellow, but with a smooth kick. The ginger and kola nut ramp up my metabolism, and the spices have a smooth taste with just the right amount of heat.

Cautions: Too stimulating to drink in the evening, may cause sleeplessness. Kola nut contains caffeine
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon kola nut*
  • 1 tablespoon dried ginger
  • 1 tablespoon carob
  • 1 few whole cloves
  • a pinch ramon nut powder
  • 2 quarts spring water
Kola Nut * Carob * Ginger * Clove *
Variations:* dandelion for a non caffeinated version
Recipe Instructions: Decoction :Bring to a slow boil over low heat, then simmer with the lid on at least 10 minutes. Serve hot or cold over ice with a few mint leaves for garnish.
