Turmeric is the same family as ginger and its health benefits are just as universal, for instance, turmeric decreases inflammation and pain, gives skin a healthy glow, and may even help to prevent cancers. Turmeric can and should be enjoyed in teas and cooking, strive to get about at least teaspoon a day as a tonic dose.

Cautions: If you have extremely low blood sugar,(hypoglycemia), do not take turmeric.

Recipe Instructions: Herbal Tea :Use 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder for each cup of water. For coughs and sore throat use 1 cup of hot milk and 1 teaspoon of turmeric boiled together for 3 minutes.
