Chinese use dock root for chronic constipation, much like Western herbalists. They point out that the amount of dock root tea required varies on individual needs. The average amount is 3 to 4 cups a day.

Ingredients:
Yellow Dock *
Recipe Instructions: Herbal Tea :In TCM, dock root is not boiled, as most roots are. Instead the chopped root is placed in a cup, and boiling water is poured over the roots. Cover and let steep for 30 min. Strain, reheat and drink.
