This old country recipe taken from the
" Family Receipt Book" , published in 1819, is a herbal classic that stands the test of time. The use of bitters for digestive troubles has fallen out of modern day usage, much to our detriment.

Recipe Instructions:
Herbal Tea
:Pour a pint and a half of boiling water over the ingredients, let stand an hour, then decant the clear liquor. It should be kept closely covered after the water is put on the ingredients. Take a wine glass full two or three times a day.
