1 cup fresh crushed jewelweed
2 cups apple cider vinegar
Place jewelweed in a glass quart jar. Cover with vinegar, and seal with a plastic lid. You can leave the herb set for about 4 weeks, strain and rebottle. Use as is or as a base carrier for antiseptic or insect-repellent essential oils, 10 drops to a one pint spray bottle. Vinegars will keep for about a year. 192 |
